This is a great little printer for a home office. The black and white print quality is good, the whole form factor is pretty compact, and the unit is even compatible with Mac computers. However, it is loud when it runs and like all Laser printers it benefits from a dedicated outlet. The sheet feeder works great for scanning and faxing documents and the user interface is quite simple and intuitive for the most part.
My dings for this unit are related to its wireless setup, which has not worked for me, despite having no password on the LAN it is installed on. So I hard-wired the printer via ethernet instead, which works great.

The printer was a breeze to set up, easy to use and seemed really reliable. After six months it is BROKEN. The automatic sheet feeder jammed, the jam would not clear, and this completely negated the ability to use the machine as a scanner, copier or fax. Calling Customer Service is a joke! They are in Dominican Republic, speak English with difficulty. They speak from a script which they do not deviate from. And the result is that the product cannot be fixed unless I can transport the 80 lb printer myself (I am a 57 year old woman). There is no provision to have the printer picked up. Because they asked me to repeat steps I had already repeated SEVERAL times, the paper ultimately stuck in the machine and the entire machine is now broken.
The printer is useless to me now. I've already bought a replacement. DO NOT BUY!!!

I regreat buy anthing from amazon the product is no use and now IM stocK with IT and the bill. I TRIED TO CALL CUSTUMER SEVICES BUT THEY PUT ME ON HOLD WITHOUT A RESPONS.
